Bob Barron

ROBERT

Bob Barron was born and raised in La Marque, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1972 from Baylor University. He graduated Baylor Law School in 1974. Mr. Barron is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts, Eastern United States District Court, United States Tax Court, United States Fifth Circuit Court, and in the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Barron also received is Certified Public Accountant license in 1976. Mr. Barron is a Board Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney. Although his practice is in law and his focus on Consumer Bankruptcy, his accounting and tax expertise affords his clients the best possible choice in considering a bankruptcy attorney.

Mr. Barron started his own law firm in 1983 in Port Arthur, Texas. He has been practicing Bankruptcy Law for over 35 years. In 1990, he opened a second office in Lufkin, Texas, and then expanded his firm to the North Dallas/Plano area in 1993. Mr. Barron has filed more cases than any other attorney in the Eastern District of Texas for over 20 years. Mr. Barron has also participated in a trial which reached the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Barron has been married for over 18 years. He has three adult children, two of them, Robby and Diane, both become attorneys and work for Barron & Barron, LLP. He enjoys reading, farming, and spending time with his family, but mostly spending time with his 8 grandchildren.

Mr. Barron is a member of The State Bar of Texas, Jefferson County Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, American Bankruptcy Institute, American Institute of Certified Public Accountancy.

Robby Barron

ROBBY

Robby was born and raised in Nederland, Texas. While in high school, he played golf and graduated from Nederland High School. After high school, he attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor in Accounting and Economics. He completed a portion of his studies in Europe via the program, Baylor in Great Britain. In addition, he was a member of a Baylor Business fraternity.

Mr. Barron attended South Texas College of Law graduating cum laude. While attending law school, Mr. Barron was a member of the Dean’s List numerous times and received the highest grade in Bankruptcy, Federal Courts, and Payment Systems. In Mr. Barron’s third year of law school, he received his bar card and began practicing law with his father, Robert E. Barron.

Mr. Barron continues to practice law with his father and has returned to Nederland to raise his family. Mr. Barron is happily married and has two children.

Mr. Barron has memberships to State Bar of Texas, Texas Young Lawyers Association, and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Mr. Barron is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts and the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Court Eastern District of Texas.

Diane

DIANE

Diane was born and raised in Nederland, Texas. In high school, Mrs. Barron-Carter graduated 3rd in her class from Nederland High School where she participated in a variety of sports and extracurricular activities. Mrs. Barron-Carter obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Baylor University where she graduated with a GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0. While at Baylor, she was a member of the Dean’s List numerous times, participated in Kappa Alpha Theta, volunteered with Baylor Buddies and Court Appointed Special Advocate, an advocacy group for abused and neglected children. Mrs. Barron-Carter also studied Spanish in Madrid, Spain.

Mrs. Barron-Carter attended Baylor University School of Law graduating in the top 30% of her class. In addition to her law degree, Mrs. Carter also obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration and competed in moot court competitions. During her second and third year of law school, she worked at the McLennan County District Attorney’s office prosecuting protective orders and advocating for the protection of victims of violent crimes.

Mrs. Barron-Carter has memberships to State Bar of Texas, Dallas County Young Lawyers Association, and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Mrs. Barron-Carter is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts and the U.S.  District Court for Eastern and Northern District of Texas.

Mrs. Barron-Carter recently married and lives in Plano, Texas with her husband. She enjoys reading, working out, and traveling to New Mexico with her husband.

Mrs. Barron-Carter is now a proud mother to a baby girl born in 2011.
